Three patio houses have been built around the square. The building volumes are rather low to avoid that the square would get too much shade. The living area is situated on the ground floor that is fully open to the patio. This patio is oriented to the south to enable using the extra solar heat and light. This living area is also linked to the kitchen, which looks onto the St.Antoniusplein. The ground floor also has a bathroom, toilet, storage room and another possible bedroom. On the first floor, two bedrooms have been provided for.

Unlike the ground floor, which for reasons of thermal inertia is constructed in heavy materials, the upper part of the house is made of a light wooden structure.
